GENERAL INFORMATION
Character image: i.imgur.com/ZDqAHfx.jpg
Artist: SirTiefling

Name: Laith
Age: 33
Date of birth: 17/08/3030
Place of birth: Strana Mechty

Personality: Laith is a Trueborn Jade falcon warrior, and she is exemplary of her birthright and Clan. For the first 20 years of her life Laith trained to be the best Mechwarior she could. she has also partaken in some of the fiercest fighting Clan Jade Falcon has ever undertaken. As such, Laiths skills as a Mech pilot are exemplary.

Like most other Clan Trueborn, Laith was raised to prize honor above all else when dealing in combat. She attempts to fight all battles honorable, and treats all members of the Clan well, even those of different Castes. Laith believes that only by working in harmony with the other castes could the warrior caste truly succeed in its goal to lead the Clan to glory.

Laith is empathetic and friendly when dealing with her fellow Jade Falcon warriors, traits that have enabled her to shine as a skilled leader and confidant. Her empathy and friendly attitude does not extend past the Jade Falcons though. Laith despises the Inner Sphere, seeing it as corrupt and weak. However after the clans defeat at Tukayyid, she has learned to not underestimate them.

Laith also has little regard for the Warden Clans, and due to the Refusal wars, bears outright hatred towards Clan Wolf, believing that they are responsible for the current condition of the Clans.

Laiths honorable view of combat changed after the Clans defeat on Tukayyid and the invasion was halted. Laith came to realize that honor without wisdom was foolish, and in order to bring victory to her clan, it was sometimes necessary to fight using less than Honorable methods. This newfound realization, coupled with her skills as a leader and Mech pilot, has lead Laith and the forces under her command to many victories in the various inter Clan conflicts after the invasion.

These victories have lead Laith to develop a superiority complex, a complex aided by her Trueborn upbringing. Laith believes that if the Jade Falcons are to recover from the Clan invasion and refusal wars, she must attain a high enough rank to make the difference between victory, and defeat.

Laith has recently been promoted to Star Captain, and hopes to soon attain a Bloodname and further advancement in the Clan Ranks, ultimately hoping to achieve the rank of Galaxy Commander.

History:
Born on Strana Mechty into a Jade Falcon Truborn Sibkin, Laith spent the first 10 years of her life in a Creche, learning all there was to know about combat, honor, and the legacy of the great Kerensky.
Upon her tenth birthday, Laith was transferred to a Sibko to continue her training. This training now included tests for intelligence, command ability, reflexes and strength, and martial skills.
Of all of the skills Laith displayed, command ability was one of her best. Her empathy and insight into her fellow Jade Falcon warriors enabled her to forge bonds and relationships better than most of her Sibko, and she frequently took on leadership roles within her Sibko training exercises.

On Laiths 20th birthday she participated in her Blooding, a Trial of Position, as all Trueborn warriors must. According to Jade Falcon tradition, she participated in hand to hand combat with a cadre of other Trueborn before getting into her Mech.
She defeated her first opponent before being bested by the second, earning her the rank of warrior and taking her place among the Truborn pilots of Clan Jade Falcon, albeit at the lowest rank.

The timing could not be better in her eyes, as the clan invasion of the inner sphere took place shortly thereafter. While there was much politicking and trials taking place to ensure Clan Jade Falcon could participate in the invasion, Laith was not privy to these, though it didn't matter to her. Laith didn't have to wait long to put her training to use, and that was good enough.
On world after world, Laith and the other Jade Falcons laid waste to the inner sphere worlds, claiming thousands of bondsmen and destroying and freeborn Mechwarrior foolish enough to stand in their way. Such barbarians could not hope stand against the might and honor of the children of Karensky. Laith had only disdain for the dishonorable tactics and inferior technology that she faced in the inner sphere. And every victory only solidified her beleifs that the inner sphere had lost their way and needed the clans leadership to return it to the glory of the star league days.

This war came to a head at the battle of Tukayyid, where Laith took part in the fighting as part of the Jade Falcon forces bidden for the planet. Despite achieving a draw, the losses sustained, and the failure of most of the other clans lead to a defeat for the Clans, and an end of the current fighting
After the battle of Tukayyid, Jade falcon was left with many casualties and positions to full. Laith took advantage and called for her second trial of position. In the war torn state of the clan, she was able to succeed in defeating one Mech pilot once more, and advanced to the rank of Star Commander. Now in command of a full star of Mechs, Laith was in a position to better direct the war efforts, using her command and leadership skills to their best. And she needed to use every trick she learned in the clan invasion in the upcoming war with Clan Wolf.

Laith had already harbored dislike for Clan Wolf and their misguided Warden philosophy, and so when the Refusal War broke out between tthe Wolves and the Falcons, she jumped at the chance to strike at them. Laiths promotion to Star Commander was fortunate, as she found that the less experienced Jade Falcon warriors were often those sent to the front line to weather the worst of what the Wolves could throw at them. As such Laith and her Star were able to strike at weakened or retreating units, something she never would have done before the lessons she learned on Tukayyid. Even so, the Refusal war with Clan Wolf was unlike anything Laith had experienced. The forces of Clan Wolf proved to be more challenging than any force she had ever faced.

Throughout the war, Laiths disregard for the warden Clan Wolf turned into outright hatred, as she was surrounded by strong voices and opinions, all blaming Clan Wolf for the failure of the Invasion. It wasn't long before she was the one with the strong voice, going so far as to call Clan Wolf warriors Dezgra in their battles. When the war came to an end with a victory for the Jade Falcon and Laith had time to fully absorb just how many Jade Falcon warriors had been killed, her hatred for Clan Wolf simmered into a cold fury that she harbors to this day.

After the refusal war, Laith took part in several Jade Falcon engagements against the other clans. When the Nova Cats joined the reformed star league in their operation against Smoke Jaguar, Laith and other Jade Falcons, along with most of the other Clans, took part in scouring the Dezgra Clan from Clan space , claiming some of their resources for the Jade Falcon in the process.

Another inter clan conflict emerges when Clan Steel Viper invaded Jade Falcon space, starting the Hegira war. Laith was among the troops selected by Kahn Martha Pryde to strike back and reclaim not only what was lost to the Vipers, but to retaliate and claim their worlds as well.
After all of these engagements and successes, Laith decided to undertake her third Trial of Position. And once again she succeeded in defeating a single Mech pilot before being defeated. This victory advanced her to the rank of Star Captain, and she was placed in command of a Jade Falcon Trinary.

Bolstered by her recent victories, Laith is now looking for any chance to increase her rank and honor, the former being her first concern.
She had been selected as part of an advanced scout force that was sent to Solaris to probe the inner sphere for weaknesses. While such covert actions go against her Clan pride, if it helps bring honor and glory to the Jade Falcons, Laith is willing to do whatever it takes.

Inventory:
Laith carries a large and balanced combat knife as well as an autopistol wherever she goes, and she is extensively trained in their use. she wears the uniform of a Jade Falcon Star Captain that she keeps clean and presentable whenever she is not at war.

She keeps a simple clockwork watch that can be adjusted to account for different planetary rotations and makes sure to set it before she arrives on any new world.

She also has a field communicator to transmit orders to her Trinary and receive them from higher up. Whenever deployed she also carries with him a Clan Life Support Sustaining Unit.

Her most important possession is her codex, her Bracelet that contains her full information, from vital statistics to battle history. Should she die, it is through her Codex that she will be remembered.
